The Snipe Pool

The Snipe Pool is at the top of our beat and is arguably one of the best high water pools on the whole river. With over 1ft on our gauge the water flows over large areas of bedrock ledges which give the fish lots of cover and they do like to lie in these areas. When the water is up we mostly fish this pool with sinking lines and heavy flies to cut the flow and get down to where the fish are.

Bookings for Spring Salmon Fishing on Upper North Wark have been really good for many fishers keeping their same dates from this season. We have some limited dates available currently which are:-

February - Priced at £65 per rod per day

4th, 12th, 17th & 23rd (1 Rod Available Each Day)

8th, 9th, 10th & 11th (2 Rods Available Each Day)

April - Priced at £80 per rod per day

19th & 23rd (1 Rod Available Each Day)

20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 26th & 27th (2 Rods Available Each Day)
